After finishing 183rd as a sophomore and 19th as a junior, Adam Ludwig made the most of his final opportunity, finishing 5th at the Midwest Regional to advance to the Foot Locker National Finals. Three weeks earlier, he finished 3rd in the Division II race at the Michigan State Meet, his time of 15:54 was only the 10th-fastest of the day. Ludwig's Midwest Regional performance was a huge improvement -- he was the second finisher from Michgian (behind winner Tim Moore) and he beat Tim Ross - who had bested him at the State Meet by 51 seconds - by three seconds.

Other Notes:
...Only runs about 30 miles per week during the summer but makes sure it's at a good pace.
