Tiffany McWilliams led the second heat early on. As the sun went down, getting decent photos became more of a challenge.
After just three heats of the 400 hurdles, Carrie Tollefson (right) was back in action in the 1,500 prelims. She didn't make the team in the 5,000 (she was fifth in 15:24.13) so she was back to give it another try, without much rest.	Treniere Clement (second from right) won the first 1,500m heat in 4:13.95. All but two athletes advanced from this heat. Unfortunately, Tollefson was one of the ones who didn't.	Tiffany McWilliams led the second heat early on. Shayne Culpepper was in the same boat as Tollefson - she had finished fourth in the 5,000 and would only be on the World team if Lauren Fleshman didn't get her "A" standard. So Culpepper was back to try again, shortly after the 5,000 final.	Tiffany McWilliams and Jen Toomey lead Arianna Lambie (mostly obscured) and Sarah Schwald.
