The field included #28 Christina Blackmer, #10 Laura O'Neill, and #14 Melissa Cook. Cook leads #26 Carmen Troncoso, #24 Carrie Messner, and #30 Cassandra Henkiel.

After starting on the track, the athletes would go out and do a loop on the roads, come back for a lap on the track... ...do another road loop, and then finish on the track.
