Katie Doswell, a high school runner who wasn't all that well known until this season... ...qualified to compete here by running a spectacular 1,000m race (2:47.21). Natasha Lothery of the Indiana Invaders gets ready to race. Doswell is a junior at St. Catherine's School in Richmond, Virginia. Doswell had played basketball in past winters, but she quit this year to focus on track.
