Misganaw, 24, of the Westchester Track Club won the race in 35:11. The temperature at race time was 54 degrees with 77% humidity. We nearly missed Kata Janosikova-Melville, 24, as she cruised to a third-place finish in 37:33. Kim Griffin, 43, of Warren Street finished fourth overall in 38:05. Griffin was the first masters runner to finish. Stephanie Hodge, 39, of the New York Harriers finished fifth in 38:53.

Lilian Kroner, 39, of the West Side Runners finished sixth in 39:04. Suzanne La Burt, 42, finished seventh in 39:49 and second in her age group.

Joelle Nelson, a former New Yorker who now lives in Minneapolis, finished eighth in 40:55. Kelly Thompson finished ninth in 41:21. Jennifer Rygalski finished 10th in 41:32. Nicole Sinquee finished 11th in 41:56 (but ran a chip time of 41:30).
