Though she doesn't consider herself to be a cross country runner, Janet Trujillo recently finished 9th at the USATF Cross Country Nationals, only five seconds away from a World Cross Country berth. Part of Jason Drake's up-and-coming women's crew in Boulder, CO, Trujillo is one to watch in the future.

They told her not to move across the country to pursue her running career, but Sarah Toland did it anyway. The gamble paid off as she finished a surprise 8th, just 10 seconds shy of making the World XC team at the USATF Winter Cross Country Championships.
